    Dinner & reception

    Dinner, toasts, and dancing indoors, with the terrace open all evening.

    Last dance

    The evening concludes.

Cherry Creek Golf Club & Banquet Center sits on rolling greens in Shelby Township, Michigan, about forty minutes north of Detroit. The ceremony and cocktail hour take place outdoors; the reception moves indoors with the terrace open all evening. Once you arrive, you are home for the night.

What time should I arrive?

Doors open at 4:00 PM. Please be seated by 4:15 PM for a prompt 4:30 start.

Is the celebration indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors. The reception will be indoors, with access to the terrace throughout the evening. Late August evenings in Michigan are mild; please see the attire page for guidance on layers.

Is there parking at the venue?

Parking is complimentary and valet only. Simply pull up to the entrance and the attendants will take care of the rest.

May I bring a guest?

We are unable to accommodate additional guests or plus-ones. Only the guests named on your invitation will be seated. Thank you for understanding.

Are children welcome?

We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only evening.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that phones stay tucked away during the ceremony. Our photographers will capture everything, and we will share the images with you. Once the reception begins, please take as many photos as you like.
